Investigation Findings

Office #1 in the Des Moines residence was the room that was home to the ashes of Don's mother, who passed away in 2004. Don is one of the owners of the home.

The owners of the home have reported smelling the scent of a woman's perfume in this room. The PRISM investigators also noticed a flowery smell which seemed to fill the room, and then disappear a few minutes later. This happened several times during the investigation. There was no apparent source for this smell found in the room.

The investigators also noticed drastic changes in temperature that would occur in this room. This however could be due to the small size of the room.

Various orbs and EVPs were picked up in this room. One experiment that took place, was moving the location of the ashes within the room, from a top shelf in the back corner of the room to a desk on the opposite side of the room. When the ashes were moved, the orbs that were appearing in the photos taken of the room seemed to move closer to the ashes as well.

In this recording, Dan C. asks, "What is your name?" and then he is answered by the spirit voice of a man saying a name which sounds like "Blanche."

UPDATE: On 4/29/05 homeowner Doug H. sent us this e-mail:

Today we received our abstract on the property, and wouldn't you know it! There was a Blanche!! What was interesting was that Blanche was an owner of the larger land before it was subdivided in the 50's, before there was a house even on this area. But there was a corn crib here then that had to be torn down, so maybe she had a thing for the corn crib. Then there were the original owners when the house was new, and a couple who had it for a few years before the lady I bought it from bought it. I'm still doing some research and investigation of my own.

In this recording the spirit voice of a woman is heard whispering something that sounds like "Don't forget."

In this recording the spirit voice of a woman is heard whispering "What are You doing here?". When noise reduction is applied the woman's voice dissappears and a male voice is heard saying something about a coffee cup.

In this recording the spirit voice of a man is heard saying something very similar to the last EVP (#3). If you listen closely, you will notice that this is a different EVP than the least one.
