History:
The PRISM team was contacted on April 14, 2005 by a family located in downtown Omaha Nebraska. The family, Shelly and Christine, and their two young children, had been experiencing paranormal activity since they moved into their home, but just recently, the activity began to escalate. The activity included apparitions of a tall man being seen in the living room, sounds heard of things being moved around the house and the front door to the house being opened then slammed shut in the middle of the night, mysterious cold spots felt around the house, and reports of the bed in the master bedroom shaking in the middle of the night, and one a guest in the house even reported the sensation of being grabbed by the ankles while sleeping and then heard a male voice whispering in her ear "Get out of this house!". The family has two young children, and one phenomenon that had been occurring since their move into the house is hearing the sound of the deceased grandmother singing a Czech nursery song to their daughter while she is sleeping in her crib. This is usually accompanied by the smell of the perfume that the grandmother wore while she was alive.

On 4/23/05, PRISM investigators David Rodriguez, Dan Christianson, Josie R., and Anney H. investigated the downtown Omaha residence. Photographs, video surveillance, audio, and EMF readings were taken during the investigation. No anomalous EMF readings were experienced. We did manage to capture one interesting EVP, lots of orb photos, and one very strange photo of an interesting mist which appeared on camera in the living room. On video, an ectoplasmic mist apparition was captured, along with several orbs and other light anomalies.

Downtown Omaha Residence - Basement

(8:50 pm) This ectoplasmic apparition was caught on video by PRISM investigator David Rodriguez, while trying to set up one of the wireless infrared surveillance cameras in the basement. If you watch closely, it looks like the outline of a large man walking from screen right to left. The mist was not visible to the naked eye and nobody was smoking in the home.

EVP: CLASS B

This EVP was captured in the basement of the house at 11:43 pm. PRISM investigators Renee C. and David R. were the only ones in the basement at the time. The voice that was recorded sounds like a male voice saying something unknown.

This EVP was recorded on a digital audio recorder by PRISM investigators Charles and Renee C. on 4/23/05. In two of the clips the EVP was looped 3 times, and in one of the clips, the EVP was slowed down using Adobe Audition.
