History:
This home in Papillion was built around 1974 and was purchased by Cindy D. in 2001. The prior owner had lived in the house for eleven years and was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army. The PRISM team received a request to investigate the house in February of 2005.

PRISM was contacted in March 2005 by Melanie C. Her uncle Jim had died in the house in December 2004, three months prior to our visit. Melanie reported to us that since the time of his death, strange phenomena had begun occurring in their house. Reports of strange activity included objects that had gone missing, orbs and blurring appearing in photographs, and lights flashing on and off.

On February 22, 2005, PRISM investigators David Rodriguez, Dan Christianson, and Josie R. visited the home. At the time of the investigation, Jim's ashes were located in a box in the guest bedroom, the room he died in. Uncle Jim was notorious for taunting and playing tricks on his relatives and friends, and before he died, he joked to his family that he would come back to haunt them after he passed.

In this recording, a very prominent male spirit voice can be heard saying, "Ellen". One of the occupants of the house, Melanie, believes that the voice is that of her deceased uncle Jim (who died two months prior to our investigation) saying her name. According to her, the way the way that he used to pronounced her name sounded more like "Melan" than "Melanie." The family confirmed that this was his voice.

Note: The only men in the room at the time of the recording were PRISM investigators David R. and Dan C., and a 7 year old boy. The voice recorded does not sound like any of their voices.

- Original EVP / Looped x3 w/ noise reduction & slowed 40%

This EVP was recorded by PRISM investigator Dan Christianson in the guest bedroom of the Papillion residence on a digital audio recorder on February 22, 2005. After the original EVP is heard, the EVP was slowed down by 40%, noise reduction was added, and it was looped x3 using Adobe Audition software.

In this recording, PRISM investigator Josie R. asks a question directed at the Jim, who has recently passed over, "Jim, are you angry that we're all in your room?" Immediately after that a hard to hear growling male spirit voice can be heard saying "No." Right after that, a very loud spirit voice can be heard saying something unknown. Voice #2 also appears to be Melanie's uncle Jim.

In this recording, the owner of the home Cindy D. says, "He's by the curtain." She is referring to Jim, who died in the room. At the time, she was looking at a picture of orbs being caught in the vicinity of the curtains hanging in the room. Immediately after she makes her statement about Jim being next to the curtains, a loud spirit voice can be heard saying, "You guessed it" or perhaps "Yes."

In this recording, PRISM investigator Dan Christianson asks Jim, the man that recently died in the house, "Jim, was there anyone in particular you liked in this house?" Immediately after asking his question, a spirit voice can be heard saying something that sounds like, "Kept coming through ? ."

In this recording, homeowner Cindy asks her deceased brother Jim, "Would you please turn on your lamp there" and a spirit voice can be heard saying something unknown that perhaps sounds like, "Talk to her" or "Don't do that."

In this recording, PRISM investigator Dan Christianson asks a relative that recently died in the house, "Is there something you would like to say ?" After asking his question, a spirit voice can be heard saying something that sounds like the name of one of the investigators present in the room, "David."
