P.R.I.S.M. - Paranormal Research & Investigative Studies Midwest - PRISM Investigation - Ralston Apartment

In May of 2005, the PRISM paranormal research team was contacted by Kelley N. She and her fiance Bo lived in an apartment in Ralston, NE that they believed to be haunted. Paranormal activity included auditory phenomena such as loud bangs, moans and screams, and footsteps being heard from the ceiling of their second floor corner apartment (there is no apartment located above theirs, as you can see from the photo above.)

In one story of paranormal activity, the couple told us that a baseball cap mysteriously flew off of a hat rack while the couple was watching television in the living room. Another story told was of their rocking chair, which was seen one night, rocking on its own one night.

The final story takes place when Kelley was alone in the apartment. She took a shower, and then began to watch bit of television in the living room. Later, when she got up to go to the bathroom, she found that the bathroom rug had been flipped over and thrown against the wall, and the toilet seat cover was somehow taken off of the toilet seat. She found it by the rug on the bathroom floor.

Two weeks after our paranormal investigation of the apartment, the couple moved.

On June 3, 2005, PRISM investigators David Rodriguez, Josie R., Dan Christianson, Karen C., Laura M., and

Karen C.: "I thought the knocking was impressive. I believe that though the chair does have some feeling to it, the main feelings for me were down the hallway towards the back room. When I was sitting in the apartment by myself, my attention did not get drawn to the chair. It was strongly directed to the hallway. I think you could see on the camera, I probably did not even look towards the living room chair that I remember. I had a horrid time sleeping that night."

David Rodriguez: "I at first didn’t feel anything either. During the vigil with Kelley and Karen, I sensed a male presence. We experienced sounds coming from the kitchen, tapping sounds coming from the hallway area, and footsteps above us in the living room. These sounds occurred when we would ask the spirit to make itself known. The only physical sensations that I felt were when I would go in the guest bedroom, my heart would tend to beat faster and harder."

Laura M.: "I felt that the presence was male and angry. I felt that the tightness that everyone experienced in their chests and throats while sitting in the far corner chair is a result of this spirit's anger. I feel the central cause of the spirit's anger is an in ability to communicate vocally. I feel the "attacks" on the chests and throats of living people is an attempt to utilize the voices of these individuals. I think he is trying to relay a message about a woman."

(10:38 pm) In this video clip, an orb comes down from the ceiling and then "hops" over Kelley. At one point, for a fraction of a second, Kelley actually walks in front of the orb, covering it up, proving that the orb is behind Kelley, and is not an anomaly within the camera itself. Bo and Kelley are the couple that live in the apartment.

(10:42 pm) An orb comes down from the ceiling and then changes directions slightly and shoots straight down towards the floor.

(12:29 am) A strange looking light anomaly floats upwards towards the ceiling preceded by two lighter wisps of light to the left of it. The light anomaly appears to change shape as it rises.

A few orbs next to the participants of a spirit communication session which took place at around 2am in the living room of the apartment. The group conducting the experiment consisted of (clockwise from left to right) Dan, Bo, two of Bo and Kelley's friends, Chris and Jamie, and Kelley.

Another large orb appears over the group conducting the spirit communication experiment. After approximately 20 minutes into the experiment, the glass was forced off the table, and that's when the experiment came to an end.
