The PRISM investigation team consisted of David Rodriguez, Dan Christianson, Trevor Redmond, Carl N., Dottie N., Amber J., Karen C., Ralph DeStefano, and PRISM Norfolk's Anney Horn.
Hundreds of photographs were taken and almost 30 hours of video was shot. Several hours of audio was recorded as well on 5 different DARs (digital audio recorders.)

EVP: CLASS C
Approximately twenty minutes after PRISM founder David Rodriguez and PRISM sensitive Ralph felt as if they had been touched (and Ralph had been pushed) in a non-working bathroom located in one of the second floor hotel rooms, PRISM investigator Carl N. proceeded to leave an audio recorder in the bathroom.
Dan is alone in the bathroom, and can be heard asking, "Please show yourself through the mirror." David and Carl can also be heard talking in the background, from the adjacent room. At this point, a strange sound can be heard, with an underlying lower voice that does not appear to be coming from Dan, David, or Carl. After the sound, David says, "Ghosts will show themselves in mirrors, but...'

 Original audio clip + EVP looped
This EVP was recorded by PRISM investigator Carl N. on an Olympus W-10 digital audio recorder on November 12, 2005. After the original audio clip is heard, the EVP portion was looped 3 times. Noise reduction was added to the looped portion and it was also slowed down by 15% using Adobe Audition software.
EVP: CLASS C
This sound was recorded in the same bathroom as the EVP above, approximately a few minutes later, when the bathroom and adjacent room were empty. The recorder was left alone, unattended, in the bathroom.
As far as we could tell, the bathroom was in a non-working state, and the water to the bathroom was shut off. All surfaces were dry, and there were even cobwebs found in the toilet, bathtub, and sink.
Twice during the thirty minute audio recording, a flushing sound can be heard coming from the empty bathroom.
PRISM investigator Ralph D., who worked several years in the construction business adds, "Older buildings, such as the Old Hotel, were built with a common soil pipe which runs from the main floor up and out the roof. This may or may not be what was heard. In the past I have had to soundproof tons of what is known as 'common cavities' due to complaints from tenants hearing toilets flushing three to four floors down."
A return visit will be needed to determine the source of the flushing sounds. Below, is one of the recordings of the flushing sound we recorded.

 The Old Hotel - Front Dining Room

The Old Hotel - Third Floor
This photograph of PRISM investigator Dan C. captured a large, bright light anomaly in the shot. What is interesting about this photo is that it was taken by Dan, on self-timer mode. Nobody was near the camera except for Dan when this photo was taken.
Note: We understand that this effect may occur to photographs located at either the at the beginning or end of a roll of 35mm film. Since this photo was taken on a digital camera, that would have to be ruled out.

The Old Hotel - Back Dining Room
A photo of Brandi W. explaining some of the paranormal phenomena that has recently occurred in the dining room to Amber J., Dottie N., and Karen C. of the PRISM team.
One of the stories is about a song which has heard being played on a piano, on several occasions, by a few of the older ladies that come in to the hotel's dining room to drink coffee during the day. Another involves the sound of young children playing, which has been heard, from outside the dining room, late at night.
Notice the bright orb which is in the photo just above the group. It almost looks as if Brandi is throwing a baseball.
