History:
This small, single family, two bedroom, one bathroom house was built in the year 1900. It is a one story house, with an unfinished basement and attic. The home has been a rental property for over twenty years, and tragedies include two known deaths which have occurred in the house.
PRISM was contacted by Tiffani, Frank, and Tim. The three of them currently live in the house. They rent the home and have only been living in the house for four months, since July 1, 2005. According to them, paranormal activity began within two days of moving into the house. The activity includes doors opening and closing on their own, strange sounds heard (everything from footsteps heard in the attic, knocking on the doors, slamming noises, and voices heard), shadow figures witnessed walking past the windows, items being moved around, and reports of their dog "playing" with an unseen spirit. All the reported activity occurs at night.

PRISM founder David Rodriguez, and PRISM investigators Dan Christianson, Ralph DeStefano, and Anney H were present at the preliminary investigation of the home. A tour of the home, along with descriptions of known paranormal activity, was given by the current tenants. Baseline readings, photographs, and some audio was also recorded in the home. The current tenants, Tiffani, Frank, and Tim were interviewed by Anney and David.

This audio clip was recorded in the attic of the Springfield, NE home at approximately 6:00 PM on 11/1/05.
PRISM investigator Dan C. asks, "Can you tell us why you're here ...is this your house?" Immediately after that, a faint voice can be heard whispering what sounds like, "What the f*ck?"

This EVP was recorded by PRISM investigator Dan Christianson on an Olympus VN-240PC digital audio recorder on November 1, 2005. After the original audio clip is heard, the EVP portion was looped 3 times. Noise reduction was added to this loop and it was also slowed down by 20% using Adobe Audition software.

This audio clip was recorded in the attic of the Springfield, NE home at approximately 6:00 PM on 11/1/05.
PRISM investigator Dan C. says, "Oooh, that's nice." After that, a beep can be heard (coming from his camera) and then a faint voice can be heard whispering something that sounds like, "Galloway" or Get out of the way." After the EVP, PRISM investigator Ralph D. can be heard saying, "Whoa yeah."

These upper level cupboard doors are reported to open on their own. This has been witnessed on several occassions by the tenants of the home.

The entrance to the attic can be found in a walk-in closet located in the master bedroom. As you can see, it isn't easy getting up into the attic.
