GHOSTLY ANOMALY
This photo was sent to us by Katie D. and Jerry M.
It is a photo of Jerry's daughter, taken in the living room,
and
shows what appears to be
a very strange anomaly
covering
the
lower half of the photograph. The photo
was
taken
in
October of 2005.
Jerry writes: "This particular photo was taken with a 35mm camera. This picture was taken right before dinner time around 7pm. I do not smoke in my house and I did not burn dinner."
Note: The only explanation we could come up with would be a possible double exposure, possibly the image of a shag carpet exposed over the photo of the child. Jerry's response was, "I do not have any shag rugs, carpet, or furniture."

ECTOPLASMIC MIST
This photo was sent to us by Christine N. and was taken at the
Bellevue Berry Farm in Bellevue, Nebraska in November of 2000.
Christine writes: " I was recently looking through pictures of my sister's wedding and found a very strange photo. When I turned the picture 90 degrees to the left, I can make out the a face of what appears to be a soldier in helmet with camouflage on his face. The mist does not appear in any of the 50 + pictures in the collection and
there was no smoking
at the reception, so that can be ruled out. It was taken with a 35mm camera."

These two photos were taken by Amy and Rick C. during a visit to her grandmother's grave site in a cemetery in Granger, Iowa. If you look at the base of the tombstone, you will notice anomalous blurs in both of the photos.
Note: The names on the tombstones have been blurred for confidentiality reasons. Do not confuse these blurs with the "spirit blurs."
Note: These blurs were not seen by the naked eye at the time these photographs were taken, and did not appear in any other photos taken outside of the cemetery throughout the day.

VORTICES & APPARITION
These two photos, taken at the same location, on the same date, were sent to us by Heather A.. The photos were taken by Heather's father and his friend in 2005.
Heather writes: "The location where we took these photos is haunted. It's on top of a graveyard. My great grandmother's house
used to be built on top of it and when they took down the house,
coffins were poppin' up all over the place, so they placed them back in
the ground and that's where they lie today. I just found out too that
before my great grandmother lived in the house, someone who lived there
previously, hung themselves."
The first photo contains vortices (also known as super-charged orbs) and what appears to be the apparition of an old woman.
Note: The bright loop at the top of the photo may be caused by a hanging camera strap.
In the second photo, several vortices appear. Notice the green one on the left, it appears to go behind the tree.
Note: The photo on the right is a close-up of the vortices seen on the left-hand side of the original photo on the left.

ECTOPLASMIC MIST
This photo was sent to us by Bill W. and was taken at the Iowa Theater in Onawa, Iowa in April of 2002.
Bill writes: "I was there as a persepective buyer with a contractor looking over the building which had been closed for several years. The building had no utilities working and we went to the basement in total darkness with the exception of a flashlight held by the contractor (yellow spot on the floor).
We had just come down the stairs and turned around. The water on the floor was coming in from a Spring thaw, it was not too cold in there, and neither of us were smoking. We didn't see this image until later when I downloaded the photos."
